Replacing missing textures nor worrking?

Hi,

I downloaded Visitor Center sample project from chaos website - I am on Rhino Mac and sample scene is for Windows version of Rhino, so all textures are linked to virtual drive X:, which. means when opening I get warning dialog about missing textures - BUT Bulk replace simply does not work at all and I even tried to use single texture Replace by selecting the Aluminium.jpg texture inside ‘/Users/…/Downloads/Enscape_Basic_Training__RhinoWIN__Training_content/VisResources/Textures/#Training_Project__Visitor_Center’ but it simply does nothing! Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong? Rhino 8 for Mac, latest Enscape (4.11…)

EDIT: I know this is Rhino missing texture warning dialog, not Enscape. But even in Enscape Texture window I cannot see any bulk replace missing textures function, even though Enscape know texture path is invalid …

That’s a very very long path, some apps, depending on their age or the language they are written in have a limit of 265 characters for the file name AND path.

If you place the folder containing the textures in the download folder so the path is something like ‘c:/users/name/downloads/textures/aluminium.jpg’ does it work?

Hi,

thanks for the tip, looks like at least some materials got replaced with shorter path! I will investigate it further …
