Request for a Light tutorial!

I have seen a lot of different pictures on this forum with perfect light settings, but when i try it myself i get pictures that are really terrible.

I used the manual for vray sketchup, but this doesn’t really help. Everything it says i have done, but still am not really satisfied. I have tried all kinds of settings with vray and light settings, but still no succes.

So is there someone who can help the ones who really need some help with light setup.

Another question is the crumbling effect on the floor is this a resolution issue? of a vray rendersetting?

what settings do you use… for example when you use a physical camera the multiplier has to go WAY up compared to a normal camera.

try these tutorials (also one with lightning):

tip:
use the default.visopt and work from there

How do your renders look now? Can we see them? ;D We do love a good render every now and then.

Today is my big rendering day! i have got multiple computers connected so i will start rendering in a few moments. When the renders are finished i will publish them!
