Request: Shift Camera

I am looking into Enscape and am surprised there’s no shift camera. In architecture photography and rendering it’s essential to have straight perspective lines, as well as showing the top of a building. (shown in the Blender example below)

Its called 2 Point projection in Enscape: https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/projection_mode/#two

A shift camera enables the shifting of a 2 Point Projection. (The camera stays at the same height)

Do you mean ‘looking up’?

These are all 2point:

The key word here is: Shift. You don’t want to look up or down (it will make the image a 3 point perspective) and certainly not move the camera up or down.

I suggest watching the (short) Blender demo for the function: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1rUuvH3fs8

or Google Tilt-shift camera, I didn’t make it up

You’re not getting it … In Enscape If you set your projection mode to 2-point you can look up or down with the camera AND retain the 2-point perspective.

Try it yourself, it’s stupidly simple.

@Rchv , please indeed give it a try yourself as the Shift Y and X functions like in Blender should not be required here as moving the camera will provide the same consistent behavior of keeping the two-point perspective active (unlike Blender which doesn’t keep vertical lines vertical anymore). But of course if there is still anything missing from our side let us know!

Last but not least if for some reason you’re unable to use Enscape let me know too, as you should of course have access to a full 14 days of trial time.
