Re: revised work

Jeff, the only think I could say, is the fact that you became a target!
It’s not a joke! I hear my self allot saying: “I want to do that just like Santos did last time”…but I’m not doing’ it , of course..
It will be just great if you could share from your experience, or maybe just to answer
our questions, of course, if you have the time.
Here a question ;D : when you have a room, and the light it’s just from outside, hat is the best way to bring light even in the most dark corner of the room? You said once " let the GI come inside" but when I look to your “more inside” post, I can see the faces in front of camera receiving light, but the ambient tell me that the light it’s coming through that front doors..
Sorry for that long post.. :-[ I just have allot of questions on my mind, and you seam to have
the correct answers. :-\

Regards,
Stefan

Re: revised work

Ok im probably the newest person up to date on this forum and I have a few questions for you santos. Now im new to vray and havent played with it all to much yet (just trying to still digest the manual) due to finals at school but ive been following the forum and I have to say that your work is some of the best I have ever seen for a renderer and it is truely inspiring. But I just want to know how you were able to accomplish the chairs? Even in the sketchup model they look like something I havent seen before in SU. How did you get those subtle wrinkles in the fabric? Were they just imports? or did you create them yourself? Thank you in advance.

Re: revised work

hey dude galing mo!!! sketchup revolution is coming!!! ;D

Re: revised work

its heavy its 22mb in file size… if you have a nice computer specification maybe we can do something about this but if not… if prefer to look for nice plants in google that has small file size…
your system will crash trust me… this plant is from evermotion.. i liked to redo it in su but i dont have the time when i redo it your the first one who will get it…

could you explain how you get the texture on the plant… becoulse when I try to do it my sketchup crashis..

just a simple or any texture will do just make the map small.. you dont have to make it exact to fit in every leaves… or even a plain su color wil do

as much as possible the bigger the windows the better but if you dont have window its a little bit conflicated… you were saying the bathroom proposal right? i think i also post the su jpeg image of that
? you can see that there are big vray rectangular lights below the ceilng… 1 above the jacuzzi and one at the lavatory area… and maybe bec. of the mirrors it help me to make the room brighter… and also i tried to make it more bright in ps using brightness and contrast.. if only needed… bec. its always better if your raw render does not need any post process.. lesser time consuming.

hey dude galing mo!!! sketchup revolution is coming!!!
kabayan!!! i just got lucky…

Please share this poted plant with me!!! please. andeciuala@bol.com.br

Re: revised work

I have a nice computer here, core2quad, 4GB DDR2 800, Geforce 8600GT. I’ve tryed to export evermotion models, but some of them comes like a big mess, they dont come allined!!! can u make a little very little tutorial to show me how to export correct the evermotion models?

Re: revised work

it really happens there is nothing i can do about that… you really need to arrange them accordingly and save it as you own su model file. ::slight_smile:

Re: revised work

that’s too bad, could u explain what u did to make materials for the plant, some one sayed that sketchup creshes, u ansuered but i didn’t get it!

Re: revised work

brute force man.. nice.

maby strange question but… how large (..mb)do your scenes get..

evermotion in sketchup?

how do you use evermotion components in sketchup? do you import them? or you only put in sketchup or what do you do for using those components in skethcup?

Re: revised work

130mb

import as 3ds but not all are 3ds as much as possible if you can redo it in su the better…
