The Rhino interface tools and windows become inaccessible while rendering similarly to “Batch render” switch in version 2. I seem to recall reading about this issue somewhere in this forum but I could not find the answer. It doesn’t happen in all the scenes but it’s happening in the one I’m working on … Is there a setting that causes that?
Vray’s asset editor and VrB are not affected and can be used normally during rendering.
Could you please confirm whether this occurs only when you manually type in the Render command? (see No way to stop render with Vray window closed - Public - Chaos Forum)

Yes Peter, I’ve been using a custom toolbar that still had the “Render” command. It only occurs with the “Render” command and not with the new “visProductionRender” or “visRender 3” (production).
Any way to use again the obvious “Render” command?
None, for now. Please use vrayRender or the V-Ray 3 toolbar or Asset Editor buttons instead.
