Only one little note to say: At the end of the window shot - when daddy arrives - the dragging of the curtain is too fast - or the transition to the next shot is the fast…-, I had to replay about 3 times to catch, this is not only a sneaky wipe, but the part of the shot itself.
I was messing with wood procedurals yesterday and hat severe problems - can you give me any hints how to approach this?
I especially had problems with aliasing at increasing distances. Antialiasing took ages and produced moire patterns. (The structures of the wood vines were sub-pixel size at far depth therefore i more or less did expect those moires)
Tried to use a distance blend falloff map to fade the wood into a color but it didnt work out too well (especially for moving the camera in depth-direction) - mainly because the near/far parameters are not flexible enugh/have to be adjusted (or even animated) for every different shot.
Another thing: could it be that the blur parameter of the max wood procedural is broken? No blur whatever values I use.
I would be very grateful if you (or anyone else for this matter) could give me some hints.
