I was bored today so I thought id create something natural..
…lots of displacement and little PS…

Looks nice.
But the Axe head looks out of place with that chrome material. Much more blurred and fainter reflection. Maybe a metal texture of some worn metal?

Great start. That could really be something special with a little more work. I would try and carve out the stream a little more to show the natural erosion that would happen in nature. Soapskin and Bubble would be a great tool to get that effect. Maybe line the bottom of the stream with a displaced pebble texture and have a flowing water texture on the surface with a few smaller boulders mixed in. Trees and rocks look great!

I would also increase the sun size multiplier to soften the shadows.

Thanks Earth mover and thomthom … I shall work on your suggestions now… im also working on an image with a little more fantasy… which i shall upload soon..

Thanks you guys! its all about using good textures i guess… theres so much more i want to experiment!
