first of all I was very excited that finally 4.0 was released. Unfortunately that excitement was of short term. Batch and normal renderings very slow it takes minutes. Than the viewport update in Rhino after selectecting a saved view in Enscape, what a mess up for your workflow. I hope you come really soon with a fix for this.
I wanted to roll back to an older version so that I could work properly. I uninstalled 4.0 and wanted to install 3.4.4. This is the message I got:
Hey @Vector_Tom , when switching back to a pre-4.0 version of Enscape, please make sure to first remove Enscape 4.0 using the Windows “Add or remove programs” function. Can you please try that first and tell me if installing an older version afterwards works for you?
I ran into the same problem yesterday when i was doing the roll-back aswell. I removed the program with windows add- /remove tool. And when i installed 3.4.4 i pressed advanced and chose the option, install for all users on this machine, then it worked out for me Hope it works for you as well
