This time I wanted to create something between interior and exterior shot. Everything exept sky (I painted it in photoshop) is 3d. Everything is modelled by me. Trees I created in xfrog.
beautiful rendering…congratulations
really nice,
very nice ambient.
the cushions needed a little work mayby. and mayby a little displacement at the earht by the plants?
what about the floor, its all geometry?
and what do you use for the plants?
best greetings
great render! the shrubs look really convincing!
i like the small details in the background on the rooftops.
the mapping on the conservatory roof metal work looks a bit strange - is it supposed to be galvanised or something?
also - i think the brick on the right hand side in the foreground looks really good - but i’d expect to see the mortar less pronounced than the bricks…it looks as if the displacement or bump needs to be reversed perhaps?
Great work, lukx, congrats.
IMO, darken the sky more.
Best regards,
nikki Candelero
wonderful.

lovely atmosphere, great work
the floor actually is the only thing that brings it down in my oppinion and its only veeeeeeeeeeeeeery minor. usually those boards are supposed to have slight spaces between them and the bump map doesnt achieve that. otherwise awsome pic. i love the underlit bushes by the door
ohh, very beautyful! i love this pic and it’s mood!
very good lukx!
(maybe try to reduce the surrounding light immission; show us the scene at a later time)
I love it! Curious about your leaf materials and render times.
Lovely work - the blue evening light on the trees at the top left is fantastic. I’d agree about the floor too - maybe something like a bamboo or the tubed wood they use for decking rather than beech?
Great work. Just a few small comments though:
The dining room furniture looks a little big, almost out of scale. Maybe it’s right but to me it looks bigger than the outdoor furniture.
Maybe move the wine glasses around to soften them a bit. They look duplicated from one square to the other.
Nice job on a tough image.
Really nice lighting and details. Shouldn’t there be a door on the right inner wall leading into the house? The furniture scale does seem a bit big for the space.
Tony
very nice, well done. Those plants look GREAT!!
I agree with the comment on the floor and sky but overall those textures are very very nice.
Really nice, really really nice.
Think your lighting is spot on, but i agree with Candelero - just darker the sky a bit, it looks too light compared with the scene ambient lighting.
Excellent work. Maybe some DOF for the background buldings? It would help draw the eye down to the garden.
Thank you for you all for c&c. I’m really happy because this piece of my work got 3dtotal.com award!!! VRAY RULEZ!!!
Nice job!
Are the plants from one of the librarys or are they self modelled?
the tree to the left looks like a plane tree, but the others im not sure…
I’ve created those trees in xfrog.
hi lukx,
i wonder if you could share the setting for the skylight… i mean the colour of the skylight, and the strength of it, and also the color mapping.. i’ve been trying to do nightscene but keep on failing (not near to satisfactory)…
anyway, nice image..
