Hi Enscape Team
I have an issue where some of my round smooth objects in Revit shows up angular in Enscape.
See attached photos. How do I make them smooth in Enscape as well?
I have used High and Ultra render quality.

Hey @Christian_Lehmann_Hansen . We generally take the geometry from Revit as is, even if there may be visual differences when it comes to the output in Revit compared to Enscape. We’re definitely aware of this behavior. If you could also send this particular part of the project (or of course the whole project itself) that would be great - this way we’ll have a further model to reproduce this behavior. ![]()
Hi @Demian_Gutberlet
The flange is roughly 280mm in width, I just found another example, where 1 flange is perfect, while others are very angular.

… this is curious really !
just an idea: can it be possible that the renderer refers to any simplified different placeholder proxy geometry?
In connection with SkUp this could maybe be something like this?:

I’ve adjusted my previous response - If you could send us the project, or part of the project, that would be great. This behavior is generally normal and as mentioned above, we take the geometry from Revit as is, even if you’re seeing visual differences in the Revit view-port compared to Enscape.
You should have received it in your inbox. Let me know if it isn’t there.

Perfect, I received the file. Thank you so much! ![]()
Hey @Christian_Lehmann_Hansen , I’ve had a look at the project. As mentioned above, this behavior is indeed normal - we take the geometry data from Revit directly, as is, and we’re aware of the fact that the Revit viewport renderer can sometimes output a different result compared to Enscape. In this case, and I’m not sure where you’ve got these pipes from, but maybe you could try a different model? ![]()
