Hello,
I need to provide an animation in RPF (reach pixel format) format file.
The Vdenoiser doesn’t support this format.
Is it possible to render as Vray raw image->Vdenoiser->convert Vray raw image to RPF format?
Thanks

RPF format… I haven’t seen anyone use that for years.
Does AE support it?
I know Fusion doesn’t.
You could always convert the final denoised images through MAX to get RPF files
You will have to reconvert f.e. in 3ds Max using the RAM player. However keep in mind that the RPF files, as saved directly out of 3ds Max when rendering (without going through the denoiser), contain additional subpixel information, which will be lost if you denoise and resave.
Best regards,
Vlado
yes, that’s not an ideal format,
the freelancer have old habbit and still prefer this format to compose in After Effect.
But I will have to get him go to another format, otherwhise the render time is at least double without vraydenoise pass.
What other format can we used for composition in AE, when using the denoiser?
Vlado, you and your team drop an incredible user feature with this vraydenoiser, BRAVO!
