I am sending off animations with RPManager and everything works correctly EXCEPT RPManager cant hold on to its connection to the backburner manager so no render passes get sent to render.
Anyone had a similar issue?
Sounds like a network issue possibly? Have you tried contacting Grant?
Yeah I have tried to contact grant but no reply.
I tracked down the source of the problem and its due to RPManager not communicating with the backburner manager correctly. If I switch RPManager to use “command line” rendering then everything works perfectly.
grant is not responding? that is unusual. i had the same problem a while back, but grant quickly came back with an update that fixed the issue. the version i’m using now is 4.608
and yeah, glad you got it working, don’t know what i’ll do if rpmanager breaks down one day
