I wondered if there was any kind of roadmap to allow RT GPU to output directly to the Oculus Rift (CV1) or Vive? Or, better still, is there a way to achieve this now?

I would like to second this request/question. In Enscape 3D, which is a realtime plugin for Revit, there is an Oculus connection that works great. Would it be possible to have the production render in progressive output to the Oculus Rift like with the RT video demo? It would be nice to preview your cubemap while it renders in production as-well.

It’s possible in principle, but the code is currently only hooked to the V-Ray RT output. I want to see if people will actually find this useful before making larger changes to the code of the CPU renderer. Best regards, Vlado
