Running out of Open GL Memory with Archvision content

I have a model that was rendering fine, then I switched the “replace archvision content” off, so I could see my rpc’s now the enscape viewer is unresponsive. I updated Graphics drivers, disabled the integrated card. Any other ideas?

@sdbrownaia , can you kindly let me know which graphics card you have installed in your machine? Also, approximately how big is the project itself and how many RPC’s did you place in it?

Further, it would be great if you could please send in a dedicated feedback report so that we’ll receive the log files of your machine (please also add your forum name or some other reference in the submission form). In the meantime, please also make sure that you’re using our latest release of Enscape. Thank you in advance!

I will do all you ask as it is easily repeatable. I don’t have the latest enscape but 2.5.1. I have lots(I’ll have to create a schedule but, i estimate 100+) of RPC’s in this project, it never was a problem before though. the project is a 6 story Classroom building for a university so it has exterior RPC content, and Interior in various room types/lobby’s etc. Video Card is Nvidia Quadro M2200, updated to the latest driver as of yesterday when this issue reared its ugly head.

I upgraded to the latest enscape and now all is fine. I’ll let you know if it comes back.

Glad to hear that, please do so.

Generally, if you plan to often work with large projects and/or a lot of RPC’s placed in your project, we can also recommend to upgrade your graphics card. If you need specific recommendations, gladly let me know!
