Safe Frame not correct in Rhino V7 with Vray Beta, but ok in Rhino 6

Hi All,
Just something I noticed today. It looks like everytime I try to render with the new Vray Beta in Rhino V7 I fins that the Safe frame is not correct. Instead of getting a complete image it always seems to zoom in. I opened the file in Rhino 6, also running Vray beta and all was ok. This is the V6 render:

Attached is the file ( saved as Rhino V6)

Hi @Sculptn

Thanks for the pointer. We’ve logged this in our internal bug-tracking system (ID number: VRW-2893) for developer investigation. Will let you know when there’s any update on the matter.

It appears to be working fine if you update your Rhino version to at least 7.0.20295 (from 21. October 2020). Give it a try and let us know the outcome

EDIT: Please also download the latest V-Ray 5 for Rhino, beta build*.*

Hi Nikoleta,
Well, I tried it again today and have the same results. It’s almost like it is trying to render a region. I can’t seem to get the render region icon to work for some reason too. (I’m not totally sure how to use it really).:

Also, attached is my rhino system info. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Jeff
