Saving image with all color corrections baked in. How?

Hi,

Is there a way to save my images with all color corrections baked in? I want the saved image to look 1:1 the same with the VFB window. I have a LUT loaded in the VFB but my image isn’t saved with the LUT applied so it looks different. I know that I can add the LUT later in Photoshop but when I do, it doesn’t look like the image in the frame buffer. I need the colors to be exactly the same. Please see below:

If all else fails, printscreen then paste in photoshop

That would work yes. Unless the image I need to save is 6000 px. :frowning:

Then you’re going to be stiching it together for a couple of minutes

If you have a monitor profile loaded for Windows you need to disable that (this will give you the default sRGB in Photoshop). Try applying the LUT then in photoshop and see what you get

No, no color profiles are loaded. Are you sure there’s no way to save exact copy of the frame buffer? I really hoped that I won’t have to waste my time stitching these renders in Photoshop. There are another 5 large-res renders like these that I’ll have to stitch otherwise. :frowning:

The color corrections, exposure etc can be saved. Last time I checked the LUT however can not (it’s for viewing only). This may have changed recently. ChaosGroup Team will be best to answer that one

ctrl+C in the VFB. paste into PS. seems to work with LUTs.

Wooho, that did it! Thanks, Piotrus, you saved me hours of stitching. You learn something new every day.
