So, sometimes I have over 30 renders batched using backburner (Render on local machine only).
But some of the CRX files get corrupted on save and can’t be opened on the VFB or corona editor, if I change the format to exr I also get an error and when I am able to open I get a damaged image with a black line.
Where is the CXR saved? network or local?
How big is the CXR file size?
Wherever it is saving, do you have sufficient disk space?
Which version of 3ds Max and Corona?
Also,
You could simply use 3ds Max native batch rendering feature instead of using Backburner. (Top Menu bar>Rendering>Batch Rendering)
All is done locally, I use backburner as a batch render only, not to render over the network.
The file size is about 4.7GB with render elements included.
My guess is:
I was doing other work while the machine was rendering and saving, when it is saving if we are doing any other intensive task, the saving can get corrupted.
I do not think this is a Corona issue… but when I used Vray, I did not have this issue.
