saving settings and vray toon??

Hi all,
I was wondering about a couple things that aren’t related:

1) is there is a way to save all the vray rendering settings to pull them into another scene…kinda like the save settings option in FR.

2) i was wondering if there are plans or a current way to do toon rendering in vray - like brazil has it’s toon shader and FR ofcourse, finaltoon. Those vray have something similar??

Save settings are found in the System rollout. You can also use the preset manager: http://vray.info/newsread.asp?ID=65

For toon rendering you can use the pen and ink material from max, or even finalToon, which works pretty well with VRay.

what “it” doesn’t work with Viz? Where is viz mentioned in your first question? :slight_smile:

talking about the preset manager…on the download page on vray.info it says it’s a limitation…

ok, the preset manager doesn’t work in Viz.
There is still the loading and saving of presets in the system rollout though.
