Corona Scene converter.. it does not work in macosx!!! For example, if I insert a vray material or a cine material, I do not apply any conversion… same thing for lights etc.
I tried one simple Vray 3.6 scene to convert… It converts but…
- Dome light changed to Sector light
- Area light size changed to random sizes.
in Vray it was 200x1000 (light size) in corona convert 200x600 but look like 50x100 - Material changed to default Corona materials with diffuse and reflections … which is acceptable for now.
- Camera stays with Vray cam tag.
- No Composite object ID tag changed.

for me..after click convert ,for example an default simple advance material with a texture in diffuse channel.. the material converted have no texture into diffuse channel and have activate channel diffuse, reflection, refraction, opacity set to 0% of Mix Strenght… version of mac osx
Thanks for the feedback so far, keep in mind that it’s a prototype and that differences will be had as mentioned in the change log. ![]()
I can’t reproduce problem with area light sizes.
Could you send scene to reproduce?

Hi,
Simple scene with standard c4d materials doesn’t convert, at least I cannot make it happen.
Beta 2 daily + R19, macOS 10.11.6
Thanks!
Hi,
For now convertor prototype explicitly supports VRay materials only, C4D support will be ready later.

Till its update… and if you are vray user, convert C4D scene in Vray (Vray material converter) and then Corona converter, helps a bit.
…
Where even is the converter? I have the latest build (19/4/18) but cannot find a scene converter anywhere? Thanks
Hmmm.. That’s not showing in my version… I’ll double check my installs…
OK. Fixed. I must have downloaded the installer but not actually installed D’oh!
Cheers!
