Script - Find CoInstances

Hello all,
I’ve written a new script that might be valuable to you all! It’s called Find CoInstances. I am looking for ways to improve it and if you like it add a point to my scriptspot so I can catch up with Lele :).

Find CoInstances works in two ways:

1. With Multiple Objects selected it will find objects that are cloned on top of each other resulting in animation flickering

2. With a Single object selected it will find and select faces that are coplanar

To select all faces which are coplanar use the list-box to “Select All”, or
To select only those faces which are copies of the original, use “Select Only Duplicates”

Installation/Notes:

1. Run script

2. In Max goto “Customize->Customize User Interface…->Toolbars tab->Category: ColinScripts” and drag “Find Coinstances” to a toolbar, click to run.

Please note, the objects must be perfectly co-instanced (usually an accidental copy) and faces as well. I’d like to expand the script, but am not sure what would be more useful to everyone, let me know if you have any ideas.
