I manage a small team of 12. I’m constantly struggling with the seat count. Typically the last person to register the software gets the message that there are no seats available anymore. Every time this happens, I have to ask to reset the seats. Assumably this would resolve the case but I suspect that after the reset not everybody registers again right away and the real problem keeps slumbering until they’re at N-1.
I really would like to have more insights into where a seat is used. Every computer generates an unique fingerprint. If that could be displayed in the portal, it would give admins a possibility to do a search and compare vingerprints registered for a specific user. Even better would be some sort of solution like what Adobe does: put up a user message if the license is used more than twice with the ability to deactive one of those ( In Enscape case, when used more than once ).
