This is my try to learn V-ray.
I’m setting the vray to very highdetail rendring. Just see bumps on pilars.
and the render time: 9h33m54s.
around 7 hours for ir and 2h33m for rendring.
glossies on the floor maked it very slow.

The textures look strange. The grout lines don’t line up correctly on the arches and the appear very flat, no bump or displacement.
The render time seems very, very long for vray. i’ve rendered this scene as well in a fraction of the time at high imap settings.
Post some specs.
The render looks very nice but I would really change the stone texture to something more colorful (so that the whole scene gets a warmer feel) and also more 3d-looking (bumps etc.)
ive got to agrre with TRGraphics… the textures are way off…and your rendering times are way to high…unless your running a 486…
i think the general feel and look is good … just the texture lets it down.
and the dreded Vertical lines rears it head again…
