Sigershaders for Corona | C4D

New project / line launched (will be available soon).
Corona for Cinema 4D materials.
I have to say that working with Corona for C4D is simple and enjoyable.

Some SSS polished marble materials previews.

This will not be a full featured plugin.
Only material libraries for C4D Content Browser - lib4d file (with internal organized folders), contains empty C4D documents with materials and previews. Textures will be in one directory (to be specified global search path in C4D preferences).

Looking good so far, Can’t wait to test them out!

Yeah, those look really nice. I would buy an automotive-based library in a second. Not only am I short on time, but to learn more about Corona. I’m guessing you will have to remake these when the node system ships.

gorgeous!

Is this a plugin with new shaders or more of a better-looking library?

Library.

Need this. This wil be an instant buy.

Great to see. Im curious to know what the specific difference will be between the max and C4D versions. Does the Max version use procedural shaders and the C4D version use a collection of bitmap based textures? I’m always a little wary of shader balls - look great but often the material tile is so small the repetition on a large surface is really noticeable, especially with things like marble. Substance source is very guilty of this. Are you planning to perhaps show some scenes with larger surface areas showing off how they expand to larger surface areas?

Yes, some scenes will be rendered. But, large marble slabs is a little complicated to scan. My scanner can at once scan only 28 x 150 cm area.
In future this is planed and agreed with one company. Currently marbles (and other stones) are (real size) 1 - 1.5 sq.m.

Silestone Is great source for high res “slab” textures (1:1), you can download a zip of each color on their site http://silestone.com
Example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/4ffsbii1ufq7wmh/slab.jpg

Querkus Oak offers a large high res collection of oak wood textures. Can be ripped from their site (as I did 2000x4000px). https://www.querkusdecospan.com

Sigershaders are commercial and I can’t use images from other sources without commercial agreement
Also, as you can see, textures from http://silestone.com is not from real stone slabs (for example Calacatta marble, etc). These are generated from various 2D noises  In SShaders used only scanned from real stone textures (custom scanner).

waiting to test and buy it! great news Siger!!

The more I work with Corona for C4D, the more I am pleasantly surprised - stable and work is only pleasure. Thank you, Corona team.

Looking good like always

perhaps it is better to wait for the node material editor, before selling the materials on the market. do not you think?

Do you think that it will be on sale right now? There is a lot of work.
And how node mateditor can change materials? Except convenience of work

I think that when the node node of materials comes out, it will become a standard for Corona as it is still on 3ds max. However, according to the roadmap should come out for June / July so we are almost there.
good job!

Actually, the node editor won’t mean that the older materials won’t work. We will keep the backwards compatibility of course.

That’s great to hear.
I am looking forward to nodes but for a quick material setup, nothing beats the old way in ease and speed.
