Those of us who are going should meet somewhere for beers. It would be nice to put some names to faces.
mmmmm…beer… now if only downtown LA was more conducive to pedestrian traffic at night (like San Diego)
yeah i was thinking a bout a bar really close to the conference…preferrably bullet proof.

I felt in love with San Diego last year. What a nice area that this gas light disctrict. Especially the “Dick’s last resort” bar, if you’ve tried… 
Hmmm, I thought they were a bit rude at Dick’s Last Resort, food was good though.

you needed to be quick and clever when you were ordering.
I’ve seen people eating there and forced to wear hats marked “I smell my parts” or whatever… Being insulted by the personnel (not too rough but quite far for delicate ears). Funny indeed.
That was my second visit in the US and the first was around the bay (San Jose). What a contrast! People going out late in the streets, drinking and smoking. San Jose was so dull, empty and sad in comparison… Since San Jose, I’ve never seen so many people getting everything I said at its exact literal first degree without any sense of humor.
And yes, good food, quick service, even with a smile or a joke anyways.

Agreed, San diego was definately a good time. I enjoyed san antonio also, smaller area, but still a decent walking nightlife.
definately need to get some people together though for some whiskey drink’n and some brain picking !
Sounds good to me. If I can swing it I’ll try to meet up for some beers…or food or both.
I would definately like that also if I can get down there this year. So far not looking good but you never know.
