Any updates about this issue? I’ve got a similar problem where I try to run vrayslave as a deamon on linux. It works if I run it manually. But as a deamon it does not work and I get the same license error as well.

It works if I run it manually. Then most probably the V-Ray client license settings are not set for the user which is used by the vrayrslave deamon. Please keep in mind that V-Ray client license settings must be set per user and you either need to run the setvrlservice for each user or set the VR…
