I am watching the 8 hour long enscape tutorial and downloaded the training material.
I have downloaded the zipfile and created the X-Drive as requested in the video. When I try to open the sketchup file ‘‘Lesson 01-02’’, Sketchup says that ‘This does not appear to be a sketchup file’'.
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

Based on the screenshots, it looks like perhaps you mistakenly downloaded the project files for the Enscape + Revit training course, instead of the Enscape + SketchUp course. You can find the download for Sketchup here on our website. Could you please try again with the SketchUp files? Let me know if you run into any other issues!
