The SketchUp Gaussian Splat tool is here and it’s powerful. Any chance that a SketchUp splat can be recognized by VRay? The clipping and cleanup tools are incredible and I would love it if I could get a SketchUp splat to be rendered by V-Ray.
The Gaussian Splats in SketchUp are a special type of object which we can’t currently access via the API.
We’ll get in touch with Trimble and request they add access for third party plugins.
