I have a large stage space with a reflective black floor. The entire space is enclosed with lights. When in VR, the floor has the reflection of the sky in it, not the room. Is this a known glitch? By enclosed, I am inferring that the sky is not visible in the room.
Hey @polkarchitect , have you perchance set the “Rendering Quality” in the Enscape Settings (General tab) to Draft or Medium? When you’re in Draft or Medium mode, reflections will be highly simplified (more so on Draft compared to Medium), which would explain why the room itself is not being reflected but only the sky. In this case, please have a look if setting the Rendering Quality to either High or Ultra is giving you better results.
@polkarchitect Also Enscape sometimes hide complex geometry for a faster reflection/GI calculation. Maybe it’s the case at your project. As workaround you could try to build a low poly box around your interior.
Thanks for the input . @DemainGetbelet, the render was on ultra, @Micha , the box wrap worked. Revit can have light leaks with wall and roof joints, even into Max. Good suggestion, that cleared up the sky reflections. I built floors and walls outside the model to make a “box” and it cut the sky reflections out.
