Hi everyone.
My first post on this forum and my second job done in Corona since I decided to try something instead of Vray last month. I am positively surprised.
3d is a hobby for me that I spend every free moment.
I’m amazed there’s no post processing on these images, would you mind sharing some more info on the lighting setup and render settings (HDRI’s, LUT’s, tone mapping e.t.c)?
The main source of light is the Hdr from noemotionhdrs.ne. I just changed the saturation and outpout amount
Other lights added just to get the right mood, thanks to Corona for LightMix
Then just have fun with Tone Mapping to get the right effect. That’s all
Thanks for the info man, interesting setup. I normally tend to stay away from the filmic controls and would normally keep my highlight compression lower but if it works, it works!
I’ll definitely be testing out this setup as I love the clean studio-esque look you’ve got going on here. One last question - which NoEmotion HDRI did you use? I don’t see too much direct sunlight coming through the windows so I’m thinking you used an overcast HDRI or just rotated the hdri where the sun wasn’t angled into the room?
I used the second map from DayHdr: 06-07_Day_G
the sun is behind the kitchen. I used a script to determine the position of the sun
but for now works only with vray
