This is a rerender of a Smart Raodster still..
most of the model is original daimlerChrysler data which was converted from catia.. The tyre and the rim is selfmodeled.
The Original reached rank2 in the animago2003 competition in the category professional/still/vehicles
..rendered with vray ofcourse..

great image, good job 
40 minutes i think .. on an intel p4 1.9ghz 1gb ram..
und 2minutes colorcorrection in photoshop ;-))
It was exported from catia to wrl and then imported to 3dmax.. some parts were reduced by hand … some others with nationalreducer..
I think the original polygon count was ~6mio… and the result has ~1.2mio
a little grainy, and I don’t like the hightlights reflections of the glass. very nice model
