[Solved] Artifact in version 2.0 with custom skybox

Getting black boxes on render if there is an Hi-res HDRI image as environment, see images. This is new to this version and far as i can tell is only when hdri is present. I dont believe this is happening on the 2.0 preview version. Feedback uploaded

UPDATE: So i downgraded (or upgraded not sure) to the preview version and this error does not happen.

Thanks a lot for brining that to our attention Scott!

I’ve had a look at the feedback you’ve provided and I strongly suspect that it’s related to the very latest Nvidia driver release (384.76), which was released just today. We’ll look into this asap, but unfortunately we can’t test drivers in our QA process that are not yet released. I’d suggest to try to downgrade to a 382 driver version and check if the issue persists.

I had same issue with Sketchup version, I do not have very latest Nvidia drivers

Possible, i just updated the drivers this morning. I will roll them back and let you know. Thanks

We’re still working on reproducing the issues, unfortunately the exact circumstances are still unclear. If you could provide us with a project + skybox file that provokes the issue reliably, that would be great. Otherwise we might still poke in the dark for a while.

@scottofazphx, @Solo we’ve just released a new Preview version (2.0.1.5, both Revit & Sketchup) , that should hopefully fix the issues you’ve reported. Please let us know if the new version fixes the black square artifacts for you!

Hi, i have latest NVIDIA DRIVERS and latest version of enscape, black square appear…

That issue should be resolved in the current Preview version (2.0.1.5) - but we’re also about to release that fix in an official hotfix, probably today.

Could you confirm which version this screenshot was taken with by looking at the Enscape version displayed in the About window.

Hello, i use this version of enscape:

this problem apear for me just with water and HDRI when certain angle, lot of images don’t have this problem of black square
