[solved] Deadline and Corona issues

I´ve been using Deadline for couple of days with no problems at all, but after I upgraded my cpu on workstation it is not working anymore.

I am using Corona 2.0 (and later daily builds) and 3ds max 2016 and am submitting jobs via 3dsmax plugin

From what I see the problem is in Vray dll files, but they are present in slave 3dsmax plugin folder

After I tried to check “ignore missing dlls” I got it to work but I am getting crashes from max on slave

Also I tried to contact support and posted on thinkbox forums with no reply yet, if someone could shed a light on this it would be great

Any help appreciated, all job reports attached

I took a brief look at the logs, but I am afraid it’s a case for Deadline support.
Looks like there are multiple errors there, about “log4cplus” and some missing plugins.

What exactly do you mean by replacing your CPU? Did you just install a different CPU in the same PC, or built a completely different PC?

different CPU in the same PC  I managed to get it working somehow with ignore missing dlls checked, will see how long will it last

Hey guys

do you have any clue why progress bar is not moving in deadline monitor? on slave pc I can see the progress but on monitor no

also I am having issues - when finished the job right before render output would save, slave job crashes. Same happens when I try to save image during rendering

Is this the same thing?

If so, then we have already reported this to Deadline and they logged it as a feature request. Nothing more can be done from our side.

Can you please contact us at support@corona-renderer.com and describe your exact workflow better? A step-by-step instruction would be best, or a video recording showing what you are doing, and what is happening. We will then contact Deadline devs and will see what can be done about it.

Hi Maru

yes it should be that. Regarding the secong issue - I think it might have been caused by wrong setup of output path, which was set to local and not network

Hope I solved it forever

Marked as solved. Feel free to ping us if any problems appear again.
