Some help with the Italian Language Please

Hi Everyone,

I’m not sure where to post this topic - its an image upload but also I need some help with an Italian translation.

Here’s the story…

I’ve been asked to produce new instructions on how to assemble a shower enclosure. The company want it in 5 languages, Italian being one.

I’ve tried language translators but they come back with rubbish.

So, I pleading with any Italian speakers on the forum to translate these pieces of text for me:-

And just to show you the images also here are a couple of examples…

Thank you very much in advance

Steve

Caution, do not overtighten.

In the unlikely event of you having any problems with your shower enclosure, or if any parts are damaged or missing, please contact your supplying stockist.

Attention 2 people needed for assembly.
Please dispose of packaging carefully, recycle if possible.

Wall profile and frame must be fixed in accordance with previous instruction.

Remove packing pieces

I don’t speak Italian, but I can tell you that the German translation on the last picture is also total rubbish …

Here is a better one:

Im unwahrscheinlichen Fall, dass Sie Probleme mit Ihrer Dusche haben oder falls Teile fehlen oder beschädigt sind, kontaktieren Sie bitte Ihren Händler.

Georg

I know that this is not very constructive, but the german translation really made my day! Nice one!

Michael

thanks guys - would you believe me if i told you that a german girl did that translation for me!!!

Re: Some help with the Italian Language Please

the translation in italian might sound something like this:

Attenzione, non stringere troppo.

Nel caso in cui si verificassero problemi con la chiusura della doccia, o una o più parti fossero danneggiate o mancanti, si prega di contattare il proprio rivenditore.

Sono necessarie almeno due persone per l’assemblaggio.

Si prega di disporre del materiale d’imballaggio in maniera adeguata, o reciclarlo se possibile.

I montanti e i profili devono essere fissati come mostrato nelle istruzioni.

Rimuovere il materiale d’imballaggio.

Whew… Thank goodness this is directly related to Vray…

hi rivoli

thank you very much for the translation, brilliant!!

percy - yup, a loose connection, just!! show what do we think of the instructions now we’ve got the language thing out of the way. I’m wondering if this is a world first…a £60 shower enclosure instruction produced with 3ds Max and VRay???

Thanks again

steve

hello, I strongly recommend changing the Dutch translation into something like this:

“In het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat u toch problemen ondervindt met de montage van uw douchcabine, of dat er onderdelen ontbreken en/of beschadigd zijn, neemt u alstublieft contact op met uw leverancier.”

Marco

thanks for all your previous help..could I ask for 1 more favour

how would you say “with radius” in french, german, dutch and italian.

i promise this is the last one

thanks in advance

steve

Sorry, can’t help, but I just wanted to comment that I can see why you asked here on the VRay forum - it’s got to be the most helpful bunch of people I’ve ever come across.

(he says, paving the way for some non-VRay-related postings…)

Nice bunch, ain’t we?

Bah humbug, Percy

in italian (but i can guess with the other languages as well) that may change depending on context.

it could be “di raggio” or “con raggio”, or “avente raggio”.

Any way to have a tad more of the surrounding bits?

Anyways, that’d be 40 eurocents (2 words) lol!

Lele

this might help put it into context for you, the exact sentence i’m trying to get is

Suitable for either 800mm or 900mm quadrant shower trays with 550mm radius

thanks for your help

steve

Adatto a piatti doccia quadrati da 800mm o 900mm, con raggio da 550mm.

Lele

thanks very much, best wishes

Just on a side note that image is wwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too big for posting on a forum.. especially given its content.

wheres the hot naked chick in the shower??

sorry

French translation is also total rubbish

here is something better :

Attention à ne pas trop serrer.

Dans le cas peu probable d’un problème avec les pans de la douche, ou si une pièce venait à manquer ou à etre endomagée, veuillez contacter votre fournisseur.

2 personnes sont nécessaires pour l’assemblage

Les profils muraux et le cadre doivent être fixés conformément aux instructions précédentes.

For the 2 others sentences, i don’t understand the meaning to do a good translation of them.

Totaly agree with philippe!!! I second that!! :?
