The one with the coins was my first tv commercial ever, in a very limited time frame…
Hope you like it!

Good stuff Wouter. Love it. Especially your materials. =)
great stuff there! love 'em all
great work man!!! (even when there’re some coins penetrating each other. 8))
but really great stuff!
Thanks all!
Yeah the coins were a nightmare. Thanks to many here on the forum who helped me with that!
Nice work Wouter ! Glad to see that VRay expertise in our small country
Really art-ish stuff…
BRAVO !
I would ask for a little favour.
Can you please show us the wire of the ski-boot (or whatever it is).
Interested in that !
Best regards,
nikki Candelero
Hey Nikki,
Here it is: http://www.aversis.be/vrayrhino/wire\_beyond.gif
It’s all imported geometry from rhino (powertranslator), and all the padding and straps is bended in max (that’s why these parts are real meshes).
btw it’s a snowboard binding
Thanks a lot mate !
Just as i supposed, Rhino !
Well done !
Best regards,
nikki Candelero
wow your work is pretty cool, do you work alone?
We are three in the office but pixelab is only me, I hire the 2 others when I need backup
If you come to brussels come drink a beer at the office !
And you ? Aversis is a one man company ?
Do you advice to work with rhino? Very nice modelling of the snow fix btw
Stunning attention to detail.
Superbly realised.
Really love them.
Lele
Hey i use rhino indeed, but I didn’t model the snowboard binding (however it is also done in rhino). I modeled the straps+padding and the buckles though (modeled the straps “flat” in rhino, and then used bend modifiers in max).
Other stuff on the site I didn’t model is the first version of the binding, and the small silver metronome-tuner thing.
@philippe, yes I’m alone. I mainly use rhino together with max for modeling. It’s good for the stuff I do, but if you are a designer and want to develop your product all the way, you’re better of with solidworks. Rhino is great for its price, and you can model things quickly. If you need changes, you need to start over again so you gotta keep that in mind while modeling (keep all curves, intermediate steps etc…).
btw do you speak french or dutch
french, I suppose you are flemmish ?
Yes, I also speak ‘some’ french, from what I remember in school
Years and years of english TV and internet doesn’t help of course!
