some vray renders

hey thx guys:smile:
DaForce- yes got sick of it  those guys just say lies they even booted me from beta team whitout even saying a word .

r.saracini- most of them are whit vray dof others i use dof in photshop

Olli96- i use only a dual xeon3,4 2gb ram and its slow imo i want more:smile:

Dynedain- thank you for critic

Morbid Angel - thx those 2 things ur right ill take note and improve these in next renders

deneb26 - i believe to get the best from a image is good to study a bit photgraphy tho i only use 1 light always ,not like vraypanels on windows(give very fake effect) and on ambient always try to use lot of colors and over the range HDR

fantastic Zuliban!
good to see you back here again!

Well, its good to see you back Zuli

The reflections on the taps in the first tap scene are amazing. Is that all geometry or HDRI ?

In a word…Stunning.

Very nice images! I always look up to your work for inspiration.

Would you care to share your render scene dialog rollout setting for one of your interior shots?

Maybe your sun settings?

Do you usually use a 3dsmax direct light with area light turned on, or do you use vray area lights usually?

Regards
Andrew

absolutely stunning work - any pointers on your lighting set up up would be greatly appreciated by us mere mortals!!

congrats

what is the name of the sofa’s model ?

Very nice images 8)

In the 3rd Hamburg House image(31hf):
How did you get the soft sun shadows on the left screens AND the soft cast shadows on the right screen ? Certainly when you did this in one pass !! If you used caustics what were the rendertimes ?

Zuliban,

Absolutely fantastic work.

I know you’re going to be inundated with questions on how you did each image, so I may as well get mine in now!

I’d be really interested to hear more about the lighting of the BMW 1 Series - There’s something about the front end that has a much more photorealistic quality than 99.9% of car renders you see online.

How did you go about lighting the scene? Any tips would be much appreciated.

great work man,…!!! i like it simply the best pics i have ever seen in vray

The sofa is Andy, of B&B italia.

Really impressive work ! You are a refernece for me

I hope i’ll have much time to try to match such quality in lightning one day…

Holy Sh1t, class work mate, the towel does it for me big time. Much PS work done? great to see your vray renders back on show for all to see.

 please please don’t say ‘1 light, nothing special with settings’ as there must be something special used.
Tom

Thanks r.saracini.

Masterpieces zuli, congrats.

Bye

very nice renders, gongrats.

hi guys thx for the commentaries

DaForce- all is gemoetry no hdris in any image used, whit HDR i mean out of range like output colors.

andrew- i only use vray psherical light is the best one to simulate light -direct is a very fake one becase it has not automatic falloff and shadows are not based on size of light.. about settings i only use qmc + lc qmc at 45-55 most of the times and lc at 1400.

trick-yes i used caustics but not photon ones also i activated ‘‘affect shadows’’ so light can pass

Wilyman- i used lot of reference from professional car setups most of the trick is to not do any direct light ex. put a light in the top lighting a wall and that wall will be the reflection on the car. like this

Tog- andy:) i love this sofa

tom182 yes i use photshop for colors i dont like or contrast ect . hehe nothing speciall used:P

Thanks for your comments, how about colour mapping for interiors? linear or exponential works the best for you and do you ever play with the darkness and brightness multipliers?

Its interesting you use qmc and lc for your renders as I usually use im and lc.

For your interiors, do you ever use hdri maps in the gi environment skylight slot? I usually only put them in the reflection/refraction enviro slot to get nice reflections, and put a colour in the gi enviro slot.

Andrew
