SP3 crash while installing

Great news that Sp3 is now out, so thanks a lot Chaos, but is a slight anticlimax for me…I just get a ‘vray_adv_150SP3_max2009_x64.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.’ error as soon as I double click the exe.

It does the same on 2 (different make) machines, and I have downloaded it twice now, and both times I get the same issue.

Has anyone else had this?

Any ideas?

Do you install the files over a network? If yes, try copying them locally to the machines.

That’s got it. Thanks a lot Vlado.

Although would be handy to be able to install it from a bat linked to a network location.

Anyway I’ve got SP3, so thats all that matters for now!
