I’ve just started working on a new job, a classic staircase hall.

Yes the plaster casting is from the russian site. Quite often I need to model specific forms like the balaustrade, but when the clients only want generic moulding I always use premade stuff.

im amazed at how fast you are getting this done. With the iron balaustrade did you model flat then deform for the curves?
Yes, I’ve modeled a flat module, then I’ve used a free form deformer. For the plaster casting(from dikart.ru) I’ve used a spline wrap deformer.
Warmer is better. When cooler, more attention is focused on what’s outside.
There is something strange with night sky. It is so intense blue?
