C:\3dsMax2008_32>3dsmax.exe -i “Z:\…\3dsmax.ini”

starts the programm using a special .ini insteat of the orginal (C:\Documents and Settings\..\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\2008 - 32bit\enu)

is there a way to start the spawner and loading than .ini aswell ?

No, since the spawner adds some other command line options too… but it can be added, I suppose.
