Stereo mode - different quality per eye

Hi,

today I have seen that there is a new “half width per eye” option for stereo viewing - it’s great!

Only there seems to a problem with the reached quality level some times, the right eye show more noise like the calculation isn’t full finished. Interesting is, the calculation is running and the image quality increase and at the end it jumps to the noise. Also, if the output looks fine and I switch to an other software like the Chrome browser and later I jump back to the Enscape window, than the right side is noisy again.

I ask me, could it be possible to render animations in stereo side-by-side mode?

@Micha I can reproduce it, that’s indeed interesting!

We’ll have a look at it. Thanks for your report.

@Jonathan_Knoefel I’m glad you see it too. What do you think about stereo movies?

@Micha Export of 360° Videos (For Cardboard as well) is already on our agenda and got your upvote.
If you want a different solution, I’ll need more information.

I mean side-by-side video (not 360°) for example for cardboard use. For example like this:

Since Enscape support a side-by-side output it could be a little step to write this to a movie.
