I don’t own a VR device yet, since my clients are not ready for it and I’m waiting for higher resolutions. So, for testing the stereo experience I use simple mirror glasses like this:

Could it be possible to get an unstretched stereo output?

Please dont use such a device 
Use a google carsboard or a more beautiful plastic equivalent. Then you insert your smartphone and can use thw Enscape Stereo panoramas. Much better quality!
I know, it’s a strange device, but it’s a quick and easy way. (The quality of the mirror glass display is quite good.) I don’t want to invest in to hardware now since I’m not sure I can use Enscape for my pro projects now and in a few months the available hardware will be better.
I have seen now that the side-by-side videos at youtube are stretched too. So, it looks like my wish is exotic and I understand if it will not implemented.
An other question - could the output be in stereo cube face output too please? For example this nice service need it:
The side-by-side of 6 faces is needed for stereo pano VR tours.
