still no way to add A SINGLE vrayfur to multiple objects in max?!

ive got a scene with about 50-60 unique animated objects. working up the materials ive decided i need some generic “peach fuzz” on all of them (they all have the same material)

great, i thought… easy job for vrayfur.

nope. firstly, the density wont go low enough for my scene, im forced to do a random face selection on each object with 10% of faces to get the density low enough.. setting per-area even as low as 0.000001 (the minimum allowed) , its still way too dense.

second, it looks like it has not been touched since about 2007 and *still* wont allow assigning to multiple meshes.

ill be damned if im going to go through all 50 objects, duplicating the fur object 50 times, selecting the random faces and linking to each object in turn. what happens if i need to edit the parameters? sod that.

tyflow to the rescue i guess, although much more fiddly to set up than the streamlined and specialised vrayfur.

please fix!

The minimum seems to be 1 per face in either mode (area/face).
