Hi !
I’m a french student in archuitecture. I’m curently working on the final project of the semester.
I’ll post here some of the renders i’ll make, to have feedbacks on how to improve them. (“those” ?)
Here’s the first one :
The raw output form Vray : (IES lights were rendered separatly)
(The green stuff is a see of reeds, the building emerges from it)
It’s really nice but where would the light be coming from once sun will disappear behind the horizon? I would put some sort of light fixtures into the ceiling and in general add a little bit more details like a trash cans, plant or two and maybe a few people somewhere far where we can’t see them clearly.
well, the image would also improve with details, but in this case, i think it’s more like a conceptual thing…
i do agree with the light… maybe try usin some flares… i’m sure it’ll give a whole new mood to the image
Arqestevez1 is right, these images are not really made for realism, but to show the atmosphere and the mood of the project.
But somewhere you’re right, it’s also here to show that the project is livable and realistic, so it does need a relative level of details, it’s just that I don’t see trash cans in these images… And I’m sure my teachers would mock me !
Si here’s the firt image improved :
Not much changes, just a couple of people in the background, and due to a modification of the project, the poles changed. There are more of those, and they reflect a lot more. (For the lighting, there are spots in the ceiling, you just can’t see them in the image)
And here is the second render, it’s a little restaurant in the building (You can see it in the background of the first image)
Starting to look really cool!
Back to the first picture, the reason I mentioned the trash cans is coz I know that in a long corridor like you have on the left something like that is almost a must People are cool except this one guy who’s just staring at the window. I don’t know why but his posture is kinda weird. Pictures along the corridor - idea is great and I think that this is exactly what it need except maybe the color. At the moment green art blends in with the grass around the scene.
Restaurant is amazing! Floor is kinda too rough but I’m not sure, maybe that’s the idea
I like the guy at the window, so does my partner. He’s contemplating the landscape and this is something important in the project.
The picture in the corridor is not art, it’s a huge aerial pic of the building’s environnement. See here
The rough floor of the restaurant is wanted. Actually the building is the continuance of a long wooden walkpath, so the floor had to be the same.
