Subject Lines: Complaining

I typically do not like to complain, but I think im gonna have to complain/request one thing.

Becuase of the amount of posts placed in this forum, please post a good subject. Make your subject explain what your post is about.

“please help” - crappy ass subject

“Warning Messages - Overbright warning” - Good subject

Please try!

Thanks

Hi Travistlo !

I understand what you mean but maybe some people have difficulties
to explain in a few english words what they want in the subject line because
they can’t use their maternal language…

:?

Bye !
Gael

yeah gafl is right travistlo sometime’s people only know the simplest English words …

Trying would still pay off though…
I don’t have time to read everything, so I don’t usually enter threads that I can’t see what are about. If a thread has a good title I will read it if it interests me. I’m sure others do the same.

yeah I’m the same way..I usually skip to the more interesting titles…and not read or leave the odd/non-explanatory ones for last…but at the same time I do understand the language problem…

paul.

Yes, im sorry i did forget about the language issue. But like other have said, the people who help alot skip to the subject lines that are interesting. Im just asking for people to try. Most of the time its not the language, its people who obviously speak english, they just dont think that subjects are important. Then they complain about not getting a response.

Just asking very friendly, Thanks for trying.

Travis

Yeah i agree with you …

The way i see it, if they cant post with a Subject that is informative and usefully i cant see how they can even begin to explain their problem in detail that will allow us to help them. I have seen so many threads start and die, with not much more than:
“please help, render slow and crash. p.s. sorry my english”

And then they disappear.

They should atleast post a picture or something usefull. If they dont know much english a picture/render can speak 1000 words. Just a simple render of the problem area (maybe circle it), a screenshot of their render settings or write them into the post. That would make it 1000% easier to help these people out.

I dont want to put people off from posting if their english is poor, but they just need to realise that this is an english language forum and they will have to try a little harder to get help.

Maybe we should get a few people how understand different languages who are willing to help these people with poor english skills. So if they need help with translations they can just contact a certain person within the forum for assistance. Obviously keep it to PM contact only.

Yeah, We need a natty for all languages!
