Suggest for a new user...

Well, i am trying create a new interior scene, but i need your suggest for made a better work… ..
In this image i have problems with walls…any suggest?

I will post other images soon..

What kind of lighting are use?

Probably I would try to use phonton map with this image, it speeds up the render time and also get a better quality too.

BTW nice composition!

Gonçalo

I’d play around with the lighting, make it a bit brighter and get some nice shadows happing.

good work though

nice nice

well good modelling …
jsut give it a little more light and decrease the grainess and voila you are there
…good start

Also, slightly increase the interpolation samples to avoid the splotches on the walls.

Nenad

a: i agree with all of those suggestions,
b: id also turn up your secondary multiplier to about 0.8 and turn up the amount of bounces.
c: more light from outside is a definate

You might want to lower the camera view - the person “taking the picture” looks to be about 7 feet tall!

Other images from same scene..

Here are the others images …same errors.. :?
Suggest please…when i can i will change the illumination…

Saludos amigos.

Very nice scenes and models, the lighting seems close to right, however there is a lot of artifacts… can you post the settings and explain a little better how you are lighting the scene?

Gonçalo

I was wondering, what shader are you using for the walls? I’m not sure about now, but I remember that at the beta stage (version 0.5), VRay wasn’t very comfortable with the Oren-Nayar-Blinn shader. The Raytrace Material still doesn’t work correctly with VRay, so I’d suggest using the VRay Material as much as possible. It’s faster and … it works.

Really nice modeling - looks like the lighting is nearly there too…just some higher settings.

Good work!

Dean

I don’t like the faint white haze that you have over your images

he’s doing post process photoshop work. using the screen function i believe.

I think you better change the enviroment, this way it look like there is some serious problem with the perspective.
Otherwise very beautiful stuff.
