It’s been a while since posting on here! Been busy working and simultaneously designing the home that my wife and I plan to spend the rest of our lives in. Together, we designed both the interior and exterior of the house and have been working on drafting the construction set as well as modeling and rendering it. Over the course of several years, we designed many home ideas for ourselves; starting off with a tiny house and then an ultra contemporary style one. But after finding and purchasing a beautiful piece of land on a mountain, we decided to design our dream home as a Modern Farmhouse that’s more pragmatic and blends into its environment.
@Kylie_Garubba will be adding interior renderings to the thread in the near future so keep your eyes peeled.
@Steven_Garubba congratulations guys! The new house is a really huge step to take!! But the environment seems amazing, love the mountains surroundings    Maybe i will be able to share some photos on ongoing works in the future? Congrats again!
Once again - your work is (at least for me) pretty much the benchmark when it comes to quality, lighting and material composition. Superb job.
Did you model all those roof shingles or is that a material w/ displacement mapping?
We have been dreaming of designing our own home for years and now that it is finally in motion we were so excited to get to put all of our interior design ideas into “reality” with Enscape; helping to marry both of our visions together and convey what we want the final space to look like to our builder. I particularly love to 3D model existing furniture and items we own that will eventually be in their final space in our home.
By the way, just so you know @Steven_Garubba , ( @Kylie_Garubba ), the first beautiful rendering of yours has also been selected for this weeks PotW contest voting. It was not easy to pick just one, but I hope you’re happy with the selection as well. Good luck!
