Sun and Physical sky option Gone

Suddenly, I’m unsure of what I did, but the Physical Sky, Sun and Moon options are no longer available in this vantage file.
This is not a live link file.
There is no V-Ray sun or dome light in my imported vrscene file also. What might be causing this issue?
I’ve been working on this file for a long time, and now I believe there should be a multiple backup system for vantage files.

What i have tried

1. I opened the current project as a config file in a new Vantage file, the Physical Sky, Sun and Moon options were still missing.
2. I imported the vrscene file into a new Vantage file. This approach successfully displayed the sun moon, and physical sky. However, I want lighting, camera, and color correction settings.

This happens to me occasionally too. I think I re-exported the file from Max with a physical sky active and they came back in Vantage. It’s a pain as it knocks out any saved scene states.

You’ve probably deleted the sun and saved the change in your .vantage file. The file is in readable format so you could find the change (under “deleted”) and remove it from the file (backup the file first, just in case).
