Support for Corona Composite Map in Corona Live Link to Vantage

Feature Request: Support for Corona Composite Map in Corona Live Link to Vantage

Hello Chaos team,

I would like to request support for the Composite map when using Corona → Vantage Live Link.

At the moment, Composite maps appear to work correctly in V-Ray workflows, but when working through Corona Live Link, materials that rely on Composite maps are either displayed incorrectly or not displayed at all inside Vantage.

This creates a significant workflow issue because many purchased assets and downloaded libraries already use Composite maps extensively in their materials. As a result, every time we prepare a scene for Vantage, we have to manually rebuild or simplify those materials just to make them visible.

The problem is not only the additional setup time - rebuilding Composite-based materials often changes the original appearance and can reduce material quality and accuracy compared to the intended design.

Supporting Composite maps in Corona Live Link would greatly improve:

  • Compatibility with existing asset libraries
  • Speed of scene preparation
  • Material consistency between Corona and Vantage
  • Adoption of Vantage in Corona-based pipelines

Since Composite is already an important part of many production workflows, adding support would remove a major limitation and make the Corona → Vantage workflow much more seamless.

Thank you for considering this request.
If other Corona users experience the same limitation, please support this feature request.
