I am currently using the Surface Book 2 15” with i7 and GTX 1060 running Revit 2016. When ever I launch Enscape (latest 2.5 build) from Revit, the window is always small and when I maximize the screen, it is not scaled property. If I move the Enscape window to an external monitor the window scales with no issues. I know that this is a common issue with the Surface devices and I have changed all of the typical settings and can not get the issue corrected. Has anyone else run into this issue and figured out how to solve it?
Pardon, could you specify a bit further what you mean by “is not scaled properly” ? You can also gladly send us a few screenshots of that behavior as well for better understanding. ![]()
Demain,
Good morning. Please see the attached screen shot of what is happening when I start Enscape directly from Revit. When I start Enscape as a standalone executable file, I have no issues. Enscape does operate with no issues in the smaller window, but details are hard to see. If I move the Enscape window to an external monitor, I have no issues.
Hey @Mturner_Design , thanks a lot for your response.
So, do you experience this issue with any other software? As you mentioned, this may not be directly related to Enscape, but we’ll look into purchasing a dedicated Surface Book ourselves to try to reproduce this and see what we could do about it.
I do sometime experience this with other software, but usually you can override the scaling of the software. The Surface Book utilizes an HDPI screen, so sometimes you have to do a little bit of workaround to get things to scale properly. Photoshop and Revit are two programs that come to mind that i had to do this with. I have attached a screen shot of the settings dialog so you have some reference.
