So I have been working with my local VAR to switch all of my licenses to OLS. I own VRay Next for Maya, PDLayer and VRay 3.0 for Modo and I am wanting to purchase VRay Next for Modo. Now when I start Maya and then go to the plug-in manager to load VRay Maya crashes. I load up Modo and create a scene with some VRay material and click to render with VRay I get the “V-Ray could not initialize UI license, error code is :-197…”. Surprisingly, I can open up PDLayer and it works. After switching PDLayer prompted me for the server as there no longer was a dongle license. I put in the localhost:30304 and that worked. I have reinstalled VRay Next for Maya. I have reinstalled VRay Next for Modo (I still have a valid Beta license). Maya crashes and Modo cannot find the license.
