Hi all,
yesterday I was doing a kitchen rendering. After 2 hours of computation the rendering went done and the computer switched in stand-by.
Then I was unable to turn it on again.
The System was working but the monitor did’t light again.
I could see the windows just a little bit but the monitor was really dark.
Could be linked with Vray? It was the only application running.
I’ll try it again and then I’ll inform you.

I really can’t tell, but its not a really good idea to have the computer go to sleep in the middle of the rendering. I’ve found that the process of putting a computer to sleep (and hibernating) is fairly unstable when any program is actually running. Its much better when a computer is just in a resting state with no applications actually sending processing requests. I’m sure you didn’t intend for it to go to sleep, but I don’t think it was designed to be used mid calculation
